The Harleyville Fire Department serves an area of approximately 25 square miles in rural South Carolina, which includes parts of Interstate 26. The Department provides these services to a population estimated at approximately 4,000 people on a daily basis. The Department is the primary agency responsible for responding to all critical fire service incidents within the Town and rural area of Harleyville and all critical incidents to include, but not limited to; residential and commercial structure fires, hazardous material situations, natural disasters, man made disasters, and explosive threats.
